About Leah Lahkiah
I am an inspirational indie pop artist whose music explores hope, healing, and the beauty of wholehearted living. Through honest storytelling, cinematic production, and melodies that linger long after the music ends, I’d say I create songs that meet people in life's most vulnerable moments and gently point them toward hope.
I was raised between Kentucky and Ohio and now call Los Angeles home. My music blends the warmth of my country roots with modern indie-pop production, creating a sound that feels both fresh and nostalgic. Every lyric comes from lived experience, moments of uncertainty, healing, joy, and discovering that the deepest freedom often begins with letting go.
Music started as a dream I pursued, but it has become so much more than that. It's a calling to build bridges. Whether you've spent a lifetime in faith, you're searching for hope, or you've never stepped inside a church, my heart is to create space for honest conversations, genuine connection, and the reminder that God’s love meets us right where we are.
My debut project, Surrender, marks the beginning of this mission. More than a collection of songs, it is an invitation to exchange fear for peace, strife for trust, and performance for presence. Each song reflects a different chapter of surrender, encouraging you to discover the beauty and freedom that can be found on the other side of releasing control.
Beyond the stage, my hope is to create moments where music becomes more than entertainment. Through concerts, worship experiences, intimate storytelling, and community gatherings, I want every person to feel seen, encouraged, and awakened to the possibility that hope is still alive.
Wherever this journey leads, my prayer remains that that every song points people toward lasting peace, authentic love, and the courage to fully surrender.
